Who we are

Pension Numbers (pensionnumbers.co.uk) is an independent website run by Tomás. For anything about your data, use the contact page.

What we collect

  • Calculators. Everything you type into a calculator stays in your browser. It is not sent to us or stored.
  • Contact form. If you send a message, we receive your email address, your message and, if you give them, your name and the page you mention. We use this only to reply and to fix any problem you report. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering you. We delete messages within 12 months unless we need them for a continuing conversation.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider, Hostinger, keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.

Cookies and Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read, so we can improve the site. It only runs if you choose Accept analytics in the cookie message. If you reject, or make no choice, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set.

  • Cookies set if you accept: _ga and _ga_4CP82EQ72P, which tell visits apart. They last up to two years unless you delete them.
  • What Google receives: pages viewed, how you arrived, rough location (country or city), device and browser type. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses.
  • What we have switched off: Google signals and advertising personalisation. We don't use analytics data for adverts.
  • Who processes it: Google, as our data processor. Data may be processed outside the UK under the safeguards Google provides. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
  • Lawful basis: your consent. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Choosing Reject deletes the analytics cookies on this site.

We remember your choice in your browser's local storage (pn-consent-analytics), so we don't ask on every page. It is not sent to us.

Fonts and images are served from our own server. We don't use advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires.

Who we share data with

Our hosting provider, which stores the site and contact messages on our behalf, and Google, if you accept analytics cookies. We don't sell or share your details with anyone else.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Contact us through the contact page. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
